Lock-outs and time outs

As an additional security options, GIB goMoney gives you a number of attempts to enter the correct PIN. If you failed, the application is closed ensure others are not able to groped to guess the PIN.

Are Pay to Mobile payments safe?

How long does it take for the mobile payment to be deposited into the recipient's account?

If the recipient is registered with GIB goMoney, the money is transited into account immediately.

If claiming from the GIB Claim Payment website, once they have successfully claimed the payment, the accessibility of these funds depend on the recipient's bank.


I've just sent someone a mobile payment. How are they are notified on this action?

If the recipient is registered for GIB goMoney, they'll get a text message notification from GIB that the payment that has been made into their account.
