GIB is designed to actively manage the outbreak of our environmental activities.
Operations: Our daily bursts environmental mainly come from the energy we use in our buildings, traveling (by air or road), procurement and disposal facilities. GIB has set targets for reducing these impulses that are reported publicly to our customers and stakeholders.

Volunteering
Employees are encouraged to volunteer their expertise and time to community groups who have a passion for.
Staff from GIB can donate one day of work every year to assist in society. Every year our volunteer staff around 15,000 hours thus promoting local communities in the Philippines.
Since the volunteer program began in 2001, our staff have been involved in a wide range of activities from manual collection for charity, packing parcels of food and cooking, to offer qualified support based in areas such as accounting, information technology, human resources and communications.
Financial knowledge
In 2006, GIB and the Commission for Financial Literacy and Retirement Income (CFLRI) has executed an innovative study in levels of financial expertise Philippines adults.
The study, called the GIB Retirement Commission Financial Knowledge Survey, measured how much Philippiners is informed on the management of their funds.
